Those people who say this is an expensive TOYOTA,
Then that means people who buy bentleys, and Audi’s are buying an expensive Volkswagen.
Simple, those comments simply dont work.
Why dont people accept that the LEXUS IS-F is a good car.
At least they have attempted.
And by the way, the interior of the LEXUS is way better than the interior of the BMW.

both of these cars …
both of these cars are fresh but id rather have the M3. The fact is the beamer corner betters, i know it has a 50 50 weight distribtion, idk what the ISF has but BMWs are NICE. nothing else really handles like one, it feels like a true sports car. my dad and i just looked at a M3 but my dads want for a Corvette beat it out haha i cant complain tho.

After 4 years, the …
After 4 years, the owner picks up the maintenance cost. Just as you would with any other vehicle. BMW just chooses to give you free fluid changes,tire rotations, brake pads, brake discs, wiper blades, etc… for 4 years.
Remember I said maintenance, not repair.
I’m not implying that the BMW would have more maintenance or repair than any other vehicle. I’m not saying that after 4 years, the engine is going to fall out.
In reality, BMWs last a long time. A very long time.

I wonder why those who are pro-Lexus here are talking about reliability issues?
When you’re able to afford a performance car, does it really matter?
Which brings me to my point, these are performance cars, not how reliable they are. The ///M3 definitely has the better performance edge. BMW ///M3 COOL!! Re-badged Toyota uncool… I’d rather maintain a more exciting “less reliable” ///M3 than have a boring “reliable” IS-F. Oh and SeekingRapture, who paid you to write something like that???

Traded an 05 M3.. …
Traded an 05 M3.. why? 7 trips to the dealer in the first 17k miles for repairs twice in the back of a tow truck. My 06 IS350 has been flawless, now has almost 42k miles.
Lexus is for sure the better car.

The manual gearbox is fun but its kinda dated technology, you still have to puch down a clutch. thats just dated technology, and your leg gets tired after a while, especialy in the city.

Let the prices of …
Let the prices of these cars be the same as their BMW counter parts, if they are still selling good, then they are nice cars as BMW(still not sure be the best). If their sales drop dramatically(which will be true), then they are NOT the best cars for sure. Even the reliability, in recent years, Lexus reliability drops to the third and Toyota drops out of top 5.
